The Human Resources Suite includes modules that support all functions related to Visa processing, Personnel, Time keeping, and Payroll. The visa-processing module is Arabic enabled to suit the requirements of the local government, and Time Keeping uses swipe card readers.

The Materials Management suite of modules includes Demand Registration, Procurement, Stock Maintenance, and Delivery, including all the associated accounting interfaces. Demand registration includes sale orders or material requisitions; Procurement includes raising of purchase orders; Stocking involves material receipts, issues, warehouse transfers, and material returns; Delivery includes issuing delivery orders and invoicing. It provides full life cycle coverage and can be set up differently for companies involved in Trading, Contracting, or Maintenance. For contracting companies, additional functionality includes material receipt at sites, direct charging to projects without involving stock, and the reclamation of project leftovers. For jobbing type companies, the progressing of job orders automatically raises material requisitions and links to Inventory. Asset purchases can also send data to the Fixed Assets module internally upon receipt of the asset.

Project costing is integral to Orbits since the entire system including the Financials was developed for a contracting environment where job costing and control is essential. The design therefore includes a ten-character job code, which is generated when a contract is awarded, which becomes the cost code in the accounting system. All transactions in all the modules of Orbits carry this code if they have any financial implication. In the process of Project Management, several specific options are included which facilitate project control, and many of the underlying processes are handled by other modules that link seamlessly with it.
